Spring is in the air! As we enjoy this beautiful time of year, it is a good time to consider sprucing up your exterior spaces and landscaping.

Great curb appeal creates a positive first impression of your home which, in turn, helps maintain the perceived value of the neighborhood. If you are considering selling your home, a good first impression can make a world of difference to a potential buyer.

Even if you are not planning on selling, having great curb appeal increases your enjoyment of your home and increases pride of ownership.

There are a variety of plant choices to add texture to your landscaping. Some fun flowers that do well in the Florida climate include hollycocks, marigolds, periwinkles, zinnias, phlox, salvias and impatiens.

Also, consider repairing or replacing hardscapes such as fencing and walkways, exterior doors and lights, and updating paint colors to beautify your property.
